Medium Rimu Board with Tea-Candle Holder

This unique board features a recess suitable for a tea-candle or small bowl. Finger holding grooves have been worked into its sides for easy carrying.

Dimensions: 60.5cm long x 12.5cm wide x 2.5cm tall. 

These boards are all handcrafted from NZ Rimu, reclaimed from the doors, door-frames, window-frames, and other structures of various buildings. The different origins of the materials guide the design and style of each board, allowing the natural grain of the wood to feature. The result is that no two boards are ever exactly the same.

Every board is finished with a light coating of natural beeswax which is food grade. To care for your board, we recommend that you simply wipe it down with a damp cloth after use rather than immersing it in water. It may also benefit from the occasional rub with beeswax.
